Snowmobile Safari in Lapland: Conquer the North Cape!

Jour 1 Ivalo – Inari
Arrival at the Ivalo airport. The team will receive you at the airport and transfer you to Inari. After a welcome drink, you are briefed on your snowmobile and receive your equipment for the ‘Great Cold’. After dinner, you spend your first Lapland night in a lodge.
Jour 2 Inari – Polmak
160 km of trails
After breakfast, it is finally time for you to venture on your snowmobile safari in Lapland. You experience your first thrills of snowmobiling while crossing the forest trails. You then enter the natural reserve and drive along the Norwegian border.
You stop in the middle of nowhere for a picnic style lunch around the campfire like a real hunter.
Upon crossing the Norwegian border in Nuorgam, you enter the land of Sami people and reindeer. You arrive in Polmak in the evening. After dinner, you stay overnight in a cottage.
Jour 3 Polmak - Mehamn
200 km of trails
You drive towards the county of Finnmark through new, mountainous landscapes. With your snowmobile, you drive through the pure, transparent Fjords of the Barents Sea.
Moving westwards, you then enter the immense white plateaus for some more thrills of driving at high speed. You stop over in Ifjord for lunch and to refuel your snowmobile.
After lunch, you take the northern trail in the mountains and cross the plains of Nordkinnalvoya, drive towards the sea and reach the Nordkyn Peninsula through the Hopseid pass. You arrive in Meihamm for a well-deserved night of rest in a guesthouse.
Jour 4 Visite de la péninsule de Nordkyn

This day is dedicated to visiting the Nordkyn Peninsula. You first visit the lighthouse of Sletnes for panoramic views of the sea.
With your snowmobiles, you then descend to Kjollerfjord – a typical small fishing village nestled on the western shore of a fjord and have lunch there. You then return to your guesthouse where you stay overnight.
Jour 5 Mehamn - Polmak
200 km of trails
Today your snowmobile expedition takes you back to Polmak. This time, you ride from Nordkyn along the eastern bank of the Tanaelva river taking you across more than 50 kilometres of trails through the mountains. More than the adrenaline rush of extreme riding and sliding, this route is specially designed by your local expert guides to let you appreciate a variety of unique panoramas – mountains, glaciers, an immense river and finally a beautiful sunset.
You arrive at your guesthouse in Polmak in time for dinner, where you stay overnight.
Jour 6 Polmak - Sevettijarvi
75 km of trails
Back in the land of Sami people. On board your snowmobiles, you explore these vast white expanses that bear witness to the grand migration of large herds of reindeer.
Once again driving your snowmobile on full speed you experience the pleasure of these largely deserted landscapes. You pause for a picnic-style lunch at the base of the Villavaara hill that dominates over the plain.
After lunch, you continue driving your snowmobile to reach your cottage in Sevettijarvi for dinner and overnight stay.
Jour 7 Sevettijarvi - Inari
130 km of trails
After breakfast, you embark on a day dedicated exclusively to the pleasure of driving in this vast deserted landscape.
You cross the length of the Lake Inari, the largest lake in Europe in the Arctic circle. You live an intense experience of driving!
In the evening, you arrive in Inari where a typical sauna awaits you to let you relax and revisit your memories. Dinner and overnight stay in the lodge
Jour 8 Inari - Ivalo
After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the airport for your return flight. End of services and your snowmobile safari in Norway and Finland.
