The itinerary crosses the Finnish taiga, passes an Arctic border and introduces travellers to Sámi culture. Its compact format is suitable for those who want to experience snowmobiling without immediately committing to a long expedition.
Travellers who want to spend more time among coastal landscapes can choose From the Fjords to the Frozen Sea. The route leads from Finland’s boreal forests to the snowy landscapes of Finnmark and the Arctic coast near Mehamn. Kevin and his team guide the journey through these remote northern territories.
For a longer expedition, To the North Cape by Snowmobile crosses Finland and Norway over eight days. The route travels through Finnmark and towards the fjords of the Far North. The North Cape becomes the culmination of a genuine Arctic crossing rather than a simple photographic stop.

When is the best time to travel to Norway?
Snowmobile journeys mainly take place during winter and early spring. The darkest months create an intense polar atmosphere, while the end of the season brings longer days without immediately losing the snow-covered landscapes. The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, although remote overnight stops provide favourable conditions when the sky is clear.
- December and January for polar night, blue light and a deeply wintry atmosphere;
- February and March for a good balance between snow cover and daylight;
- Early April for longer days while winter conditions remain.
Do you need previous snowmobile experience?
Some journeys are suitable for beginners in good physical condition. Before departure, travellers receive guidance on riding position, braking and cornering. Longer expeditions demand greater endurance because cold temperatures, distances and changing snow conditions are an integral part of the experience.
