The incredible scenery of California

The BMW motorcycle tour begins nice and easy with a great introduction to motorcycle riding in California. You’ll cruise down Skyline Boulevard—the most famous riding road in Central California. Then you wind through the roads across Silicon Valley cruising to the Pacific. Along the way, you’ll stop at Alice’s Restaurant—an iconic spot for lunch. Then it’s time to explore the Redwood forests before winding up in the relaxed surfing community of Santa Cruz with stunning views of Monterey Bay.

Time to begin another fantastic day of riding on your California road trip. It’s all about savoring the winding backroads of this incredible coastal region. You’re making your way down into the famous region of John Steinbeck into the historic heart of Monterrey, it’s famed Cannery Row, fisherman’s wharf and gorgeous seascape.

Today’s BMW motorcycle tour will feature some of the most beautiful views of the Pacific in the world. You’ll cross along the Pacific Coast Highway which runs along the entire coast from San Diego up to Washington. This section is simply incredible with amazing ocean panoramas, towering redwoods, classic Americana buildings and all kinds of marine life.

Time to head east to experience the mystic beauty of California’s desert on your USA travel voyage. We’ll sweep east on Highway 58 winding up to the foothills and into the San Andreas Fault and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Working over to Highway 155, you’ll see the towering Sequoia Trees and hidden towns. Highway 155 is one of California’s best-kept secrets as a truly incredible motorcycle road. You’ll see breathtaking vistas of granite mountains and forests before easing into Kernville to stay along the river in the quiet mountain retreat.

You headed deep into the Sequoia National Forests on your BMW motorcycle tour. Sequoias, similar to Redwoods, are massive trees but even more stunning in color. These trees can only be found in a small part of the California-Nevada mountains. Then you’ll feast upon the sites of Shaver Lake and spend the evening in a small skiing community.

You can’t explore California and real USA travel without heading to Yosemite National Park. You’ll motorcycle across back roads leading into off the beaten parts of the amazing park. The route itself into Southern Yosemite is incredible and that’s before you even get into the park. Then you’ll experience the truly stunning grandeur of one of the most gorgeous places on earth. Bust out the camera and get ready for some truly spectacular nature.

Time to wind back to the Coast on an adventurous route. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famed Lick Observatory. The observatory which sits above Silicon View provides incredible views of the Bay Area. Then it’s time to cross one of the most famous bridges in the world—Golden Gate! Then you’ll cruise in Downtown San Francisco to enjoy great food, sightseeing and a whole lot more!
