Today, you collect your motorcycle from the dealership before saying goodbye to Seattle. It doesn’t take long before you find yourself riding some of the most beautiful roads in Washington State. Highway 9 is a true Pacific Northwest gem, winding through fields of tulips and carnations as you head north toward Mount Baker and the North Cascades National Park. The route then joins the legendary North Cascades Highway, taking you east through what is quite simply one of the most breathtaking landscapes south of the Canadian Rockies. Tonight’s destination is the charming western town of Winthrop, Washington.
