Day 1 Los Angeles
Our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Then we’ll enjoy a welcome drink, dinner, and a briefing on our upcoming tour to answer any questions you might have. Then enjoy the hotel: the Wyndham Santa Monica at the famous pier.

Day 2 Los Angeles - San Luis Obispo

We’re hit the road and travel along the world-famous Pacific Coast Highway traveling through Malibu and the gorgeous ocean road to Santa Barbara. Before long we’ll be in the Santa Ynez Wine Country discovering gems lie Los Olivos de Solvang, a truly spectacular sight on our California Adventure. Then we cruise along the pristine meadows of Lompoc Valley, before stopping at the Mission La Purisima Concepción which dates back over two centuries. By evening, we’ll curve back to the coast to relax in a charming beach town.

Day 3 San Luis Obispo - Carmel

Amazing ocean panorama await you today on our California road trip as we carve up the curvy roads along the coast. You’ll big exploring the magnificent Big Sur Region. Starting from Morro Bay, we cross into San Simeon State Park and possibly by the famous Hearst Castle—the massive house built by media giant William R. Heart. Then we’ll visit the elephant seals who hang out on the sands of Piedras Blancas Beach. Before long, we’ll be winding our way through redwood trees with the stunning Pacific in the background. Our incredible day of driving, we’ll be topped off by a visit the magnificent town of Carmel-by-the-sea, an excellent spot for a local microbrew and take in the culture of art galleries and more.

Day 4 Carmel - San Francisco

We’re off to Monterrey to begin the day’s tour of California. Monterrey was formerly the capital of Spanish California and then was a famous fishing port. We’ll take time to explore the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and stop along Fisherman’s Wharf. Next, we’ll headed inland stop at the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seco to check out the exciting racing culture of California. Then we’re headed along the San Juan Grande Road bouncing over coastal roads before cruising the San Juan Valley via Santa Cruz. We’ll wrap up the day driving the Pacific Coast Highway through Ano Nuevo State Park into Half Moon Bay before ending the day in San Francisco.

Day 5 San Francisco
You’ll have the full day to enjoy San Francisco at your own pace on our California Adventure. Be sure to check out top spots like Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, Haight-Ashbury District and Alcatraz. There’s so much you can do and see in the great city.

Day 6 San Francisco - Calistoga

You’ll savor the coastline of North California today ascending miraculous vista and diving into forests of old growth redwood and magical beaches along Shoreline Highway. The day starts with a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge into the Sausalito before winding into mountains into Muir Woods and Muir beach. Then, we’ll follow the towering lighthouse in the distance to reach Port Reyes National Seashore. Before long, we’ll be into Napa and the famous wine country of California. Finally, we’ll ride into the Calistoga Valley ending the day at Sterling Vineyards for a little relaxation.

Day 7 Calistoga - Garberville

We’ll follow the road through the orchards of Anderson Valley motorcycling along the Russian River on our California road trip. The shoreline is stunning as we make our way through small town until reaching the Eel River at Leggett which forms the start of the Redwood Highway. We’ll cruise through Richardson Grove State Park and end in Garberville—the marijuana capital of California located deep inside redwood country.

Day 8 Garberville - Lake Almanor

Today’s adventure will astound you today as we drive the SR 101 underneath the towering redwoods located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Then you’ll have an amazing stretch of road along the Van Duzen river across the Sierra Nevada Coast Reach. You’ll be in the northernmost part of California’s central valley on our tour of California. In the distance lie the snow capped peaks as we make our way into Lassen Volcanic National Park. By late afternoon, you’ll be on the shores of Lake Almanor.

Day 9 Lake Almanor - Lake Tahoe

Diving deeper in the mountains, you’ll pass through town of Gleneagle and Truckee before arriving to Lake Tahoe: the crown jewel of the Sierra Mountains. The crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe makes it one of the best outdoor destinations in the United States. Watch as the water changes colors before your eyes. Then we cruise to western shore to spend the evening in South Lake Tahoe on the banks of Emerald Bay.

Day 10 Lake Tahoe - Groveland

We’re headed downhill into Sutter Creek and the home of the California Gold Rush. This stunning road winds through historic towns that will send you back in time to the heady days of 1848. Then, you’ll head into Columbia State Historic Park—the best preserve Gold Rush town in the country. There’s even a stagecoach, exhibits on gold-panning, and much more. After, we’ll cross more gold rush towns including the fascinating Railtown 1987 State Park home to steam trains that tied the country together in the 19th century. Then we pick up the route along SR 120 roaring into the mountains until we reach Groveland and the entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Day 11 Groveland - Big Pine

Although you’ve already experienced some truly incredible riding, today may well be the highlight of our California Adventure as we make our way into Yosemite National Park. Be prepared for delicious curves, incredible scenery of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and gorgeous snow capped mountains. Then, we zoom down into the fascinating Mono Lake State Park before picking up SR395 which cuts through the divide between California and Nevada. The day is perfectly ended in the charming town of Big Pine.

Day 12 Big Pine - Los Angeles

Get ready to soar high into the mountains as we explore the Ancient Bristlecone Pineforest—home to the oldest living plants on earth including the famed Methuselah tree which sprouted in 2832 BC. Then, we continue the ride at high elevation along SR 395 reaching Mt. Whitney which rise to 4,400 meters above sea level—making it the highest peak in the contiguous United States. Continuing on the highway we’ll carve down into the Mojave Desert before slipping into the deliciously cool Angeles National Forest and arriving in Los Angeles by late afternoon. We’ll toast our road trip accomplishment at a gourmet restaurant and spend the evening once again at the Wyndham in Santa Monica.

Day 13 Los Angeles
No trip to California is complete without a little exploration of its biggest city. You’ll enjoy a guided tour across some of Los Angeles’s most famous places including Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and downtown. Then we celebrate one more meal together and one last evening in Santa Monica.

Day 14 Los Angeles Farewell
Time to wrap up our tour of California. Take a little time to do some sightseeing. Then we’ll transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule.
