Day 1 Tours
After you have arrived and settled-in to your hotel, you will be briefed on the upcoming trip.
Day 2 Tours - Uzerche
300kms - 5hrs of riding
A beautiful day of roads through Touraine et Limousin awaits you! Follow the Gartempe valley and pass through the idyllic village of Angles sur L’Anglin. Next, the martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane and a glance into its tragic WWII history. The last stop for the day is in the medieval village of Uzerche, “the pearl of the Limousin”, on the Vezere river.
Day 3 Uzerche - Albi
240kms - 3 1/2hrs of riding
Today you will visit some of the most beautiful villages in France: Collonges la Rouge, Turenne, Castelnau de Montmirail et Cordes Sur Ciel. Marvel at the magnificent and untamed landscapes of Quercy before finishing your day in the historical village of Albi, known for its Unesco classified buildings that showcase feats of medieval architecture and engineering.
Day 4 Albi - Barcelona
420kms - 5 1/2hrs of riding
You leave the Quercy region by the beautiful roads of Tarn and arrive at the foothills of the Pyrenees and the Puymorens pass. Here you can make a quick stop at the “Pas de la Casa” in Andora, a ski resort and frontier town that had only a single shepherds hut overlooking the pass until the early 20th century. Then the only thing resting between you and Barcelona is the pass of Toses and its 40kms of twisting roads and stunning scenery !
Day 5 Barcelona
You will be attending the free practice sessions and qualifications of the Moto2, Moto3, and MotoGP categories. After you leave the racetrack, it’s time to enjoy Barcelona and the best it has to offer. Perhaps enjoy a panoramic view over the city on Montjuic hill or a stroll down the infamous Ramblas with it’s elaborate street performance artists. You will end this beautiful day with a dinner in the historic center of Barcelona !
Day 6 Barcelona - Banyuls
200kms - 2 1/2hrs of riding
With great seats you will watch the epic races of all three categories on the Montmelo course. It is an ambience befitting of a big football match! After a day of racing, leave the course and head to the Mediterranean seaside resort of Banyuls where you can relive the day’s races over a delicious aperitif !
Day 7 Banyuls - St Flour
400kms - 4hrs of riding
In the morning you roll through the wine region of Minervois and its undulating hills of vineyards and chateaux. You then climb towards Haut Languedoc and its renowned medieval villages and rolling hills. The last sight of the day is the towering red Garabit viaduct built by Gustav Eiffel, before you arrive at the town of St. Flour perched atop a volcanic outcrop.
Day 8 St Flour - Tours
470kms - 5 1/2hrs of riding
You will enjoy the last day of this journey as you ride on the beautiful roads of Auvergne and past its dormant volcanoes covered in green vegetation. You’ll cross over the Puy Mary pass, which is the highest point in the elevated region of the Massif Central before encountering the peaceful villages of Besse-en-Chandesse and Mount-Dore. You’ll reach Touraine by the small roads which run through the regional Park of Brenne. It’s the end of your France – Spain motorcycle trip !
