Day 1 Armenia Arrival
Welcome to Armenia! Our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you over to your hotel. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the city and rest up before your tours in Armenia kick off in the morning!
Day 2 Yerevan - Echmiadzin – Zvartnots – Yerevan
60 km
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our tour of Armenia begins with a visit to Echmiadzin- Armenia religious capital. You’ll visit one of the first Christian Church in the world dating back to the fourth century along with the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Hripsime and Zvartnots. On the way back, we’ll visit the Matenadarn Manuscript Museum along with the open air artisanal markets. These are great places for some rare souvenirs.
Day 3 Yerevan – Saghmosavank – Amberd – Haghpat
240 km
It’s time for some real riding on off road Armenia journey. We’re heading to the thirteenth century Saghmosavank Monastery which overlooks the majestic Qaseh River Gorge. We’ll push our motorcycles as we head up to thousand year old Amberd Fortress located on Aragats Mountains at an elevation of 2200 meters before we end our day in Haghpat Village for the evening.
Day 4 Haghpat - Noyemberyan - Goshavank – Dilijan
170 km
We’ll start our day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Haghpat Monastery dating from tenth to thirteenth centuries. Along the way we’ll ride to the Goshavank Monastery and pass by the charming town of Noyemberyan. Then we’re making our way into the “Armenia Switzerland” of the Dilijan town deep in the forests.
Day 5 Sevan – Noraduz – Vardenyants pass – Yeghegnadzor
150 km
We’ll visit Sevan Peninsula which features a stunning lakeside view. As we continue our tours in Armenia, we’ll see more monasteries and the sacred Noraduz Cemetery, one of the most revered places in Armenia. Then we’ll continue pushing our bikes to Yeghegnadzor through the epic Vardenyants Pass.
Day 6 Yeghegnadzor – Noravank – Khor Virap – Yerevan
150 km
Our off road Armenia adventure continues as we travel through the different landscapes and climates headed in the direction of the ancient Noravank Monastery. Noravank is famous not only for its beautiful architecture, but also its phenomenal view of the nearby canyons. Then we’re off to the Khor Virap Monastery which will give us an up close view of the mystical Mt. Ararat before heading back to Yerevan for the night.
Day 7 Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
80 km
We’ll begin by riding out to Garni Village which features the first century A.D. Garni Pagan Temple- the only one in the Caucasus. We’ll also see the incredible Geghard Cave Monastery. Get ready for incredible lunch at Sergey’s House which features incredible Armenia Barbecue and traditional breads before we head back again to Yerevan to begin wrapping up our road trip Armenia.
Day 8 Departure
After a fantastic week on our tours in Armenia, it’s time for your journey to end. We highly recommend spending some extra time in Armenia before you head back home or we’ll help you make your way to the airport depending on your flight schedule.
