Day 1 Tours
Arrival
Upon your arrival in Tours, you meet our local expert partner Laurent’s team that will drive you to your hotel. After picking up your bike, you take it for a trial ride on the streets of the city in preparation for your motorcycle trip to Normandy and Brittany. Enjoy your evening in the lively Tours, a beautiful city with a long history, known for its role as an important Gallic-Roman settlement. Go for an evening stroll in the old town and visit the spectacular Saint Gatien cathedral.
Day 2 Tours – Honfleur

You head westwards and ride in the direction of Normandy. You ride till the legendary circuit of the 24 Heures du Mans. You cross seemingly endless green fields, apple orchards, and the hilly countryside of Normandy, and pass through some of the typical Normandy villages. You will notice their characteristic half-timbered houses made with old stones. You then arrive in Lisieux where you can visit the imposing cathedral that dominates over the city. You continue your ride till Honfleur, a quaint port city dating back to the 18th century. In the evening, place yourself by the port and enjoy a tasty plate of French fries and mussels (mussels frites) while watching the old boats anchored at the port.
Day 3 Honfleur – Sainte-Mère-Eglise

You continue your motorcycle journey through Normandy and visit the historically famous and splendid beaches of Normandy that were the famous D-Day landing sites. You take your bike to the Bénouville bridge (also known as the Pegasus Bridge), the Omaha beach and then the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer. This cemetery, built in the honour of U.S ex-servicemen who died in the Normandy invasion, hold more than 9,300 graves laid out symmetrically and marked with white crosses. After crossing the Utah beach, you reach the village of Sainte-Mère-Eglise, the first French village to be liberated by the U.S. 101th Airborne division during the invasion. The village is also your stop for the night. Relax and enjoy the serenity of the green Normandy countryside.
Day 4 Sainte-Mère-Eglise – Saint Malo

Today’s itinerary takes you to the splendid and rugged region of Brittany. You start your motorcycle journey by taking the road to Le Mont Saint-Michel. Once there, leave your bikes and take the narrow winding streets to visit the mesmerising abbey atop the mount, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a traditional omelette and some cider, start your motorcycles and ride to the ancient walled city of Saint Malo.The town, surrounded by the ocean is bordered by magnificent ramparts. Visit the beautiful bay that is dotted with numerous isles. Don’t miss out on the walk starting at the old ramparts till the Saint-Vincent Cathedral. Spend a relaxing evening in the impressive Old Town of Jacques Cartier.
Jour 5 Saint Malo – Perros-Guirec

Leave from Saint-Malo towards the medieval town of Dinan. After exploring this walled Breton town through its narrow streets, you take your motorcycle along the wild, unspoilt coastline of Brittany. These beautiful coastal roads of Brittany lead you to the Cap Fréhel, one of the most impressive places in Brittany. In clear weather, you can see the Cotentin peninsula, Jersey and Île de Bréhat. An ancient lighthouse sits atop an impressive cliff, soaring up to a height of more than 70 metres. During stormy weather, the place offers stunning views of the upcoming storm. You then take the Côte de Granit Rose (the Pink Granite Coast) to arrive in Perros-Guirec, where you can experience the Celtic roots and the independent nature of Brittany as well as its local specialities.
Day 6 Perros Guirec – Vannes

Continue your motorcycle trip in the untamed land of Brittany! Today, you cross the Monts d’Arrée, a beautiful area with roots in Celtic mythology. You then arrive in Pont-Aven, named after the Aven river that runs through it. The poetic landscapes of this attractive town have inspired a number of painters and poets, including Paul Gauguin and Sérusier. Follow your route towards the charming seaside town of Vannes. Enjoy your evening at one of the many amazing crêperies in town and try the delicious galette au sarrasin (unsweetened crepes made with buckwheat flour) along with a bowl of cider!
Day 7 Vannes
Visit the magnificent Gulf of Morbihan in the morning. Explore Vannes, its old port and its rich heritage of art and history. Take your bike to the nearby villages, such as Locmariaquer and Auray. Ride to Carnac and explore the mysterious Carnac Stones, an exceptionally dense collection of menhirs. Enjoy a dip in the Atlantic Ocean and in the evening, try the delicious seafood.
Day 8 Vannes – Puy du Fou

You leave from Brittany today to ride towards the Vendée. Taking the beautiful winding roads in the countryside of Brittany, you arrive in Rochefort-en-Terre. Voted as one of the most beautiful villages in France, the authenticity of this village is visible to the naked eye. You will see neither the billboards nor the electric wires. Most of the house here have been built before or during the 17th century and are now beautifully covered in ivy and flowers.
You ride across the salt marshes of Guérande, and then the cable-stayed bridge of Saint Nazaire. You then enter Vendée and arrive in Puy du Fou where you stay overnight.
Day 9 Puy du Fou
Today’s itinerary lets you experience a bit of entertainment and culture with a visit to the historical theme park of Puy du Fou. The park has been named the World’s Best Theme Park in 2012 and the Best European Theme Park in 2013. Relive the major moments in French history starting from the Roman times till the 19th century in this spectacular park.
Day 10 Puy du Fou – Amboise

For the tenth day of your motorcycle trip to the north-west France, you take your bike across the beautiful Loire Valley – the land of beautiful castles (châteaux). You visit the castles of Saumur, Chinon, Langeais, Ussé, Chenonceau and finally, Amboise, your last stop for the day. Explore the beautiful city of Amboise where Leonardo da Vinci retired and spent his last years. Visit the Château of Clos-Lucé, the official residence of the artist, and the small chapel where he is buried. Spend a quiet evening in this charming town overlooked by its hilltop chateau.
Day 11 Amboise - Tour
For the last day of your motorcycle trip to Normandy and Brittany, you visit one of the most famous and visited castles in France: the Chateau de Chambord (the Chambord Castle). Leave your motorcycles to explore this masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture. This magnificent castle features 156 metres of façade, 426 rooms, 77 staircases and 282 fireplaces. After visiting the chateau, you return to Tours, where you cross several discreet but charming castles. In the evening, our local expert partner, Laurent’s team has organised a farewell dinner for you in the old Tours.
Jour 12 Tours – Paris
Its the end of your motorcycle trip to Normandy and Brittany. Return to Paris.
