Explore the Cape to the endless rhythm of Route 62.

From the very first kilometers leaving Cape Town, the road reveals a striking diversity of landscapes. You follow the Atlantic coastline between dramatic cliffs, wide bays, and wind-swept coastal roads, before crossing the historic vineyards of the Western Cape. The route then joins the legendary Route 62, where horizons open up, distances stretch, and the rhythm of the journey shifts. As you approach the Karoo, the scenery becomes drier and deeply calming. Passing the Cape of Good Hope marks a powerful highlight, where the road meets the ocean at the southern tip of the continent.

Day 1 - Arrival in Cape Town
Your motorcycle journey begins in Cape Town. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a Planet Ride expert before transferring to your hotel, located in the heart of the city. This first day gives you time to get your bearings and to soak up Cape Town’s unique atmosphere, between ocean and mountain scenery. If the weather permits, you’ll take the cable car up Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the bay. In the evening, you’ll share your first dinner with the group and your guide — an opportunity to fully embrace the spirit of the trip.

Along the way, you take time to observe the penguin colony, a subtle emblem of this unspoiled coast.
