Product Detail Image You ride along the ancestral tracks of the Aravalli Hills, one of the world’s oldest mountain ranges. The route crosses arid hills, rural villages and open landscapes before gradually giving way to the Thar Desert. As the kilometers pass, the tracks become sandier, the horizons widen and the atmosphere shifts. The journey takes you to Jaisalmer, the legendary golden city rising from the dunes, with its ramparts and thousand‑year‑old fort. Guided by a local expert, this itinerary offers a deep immersion into a wild, timeless India.

The stages of your motorcycle route

Day 1 - Delhi
You arrive in Delhi and are driven to your hotel, located in the heart of the capital. Rooms are available from noon. This first day lets you choose your pace: take the time to recover after the flight or begin exploring Delhi, feel its energy and gradually immerse yourself in the Indian atmosphere before setting off on the motorcycle.
Day 2 - Delhi - Alwar - 190 km
This day marks the true beginning of your motorcycle adventure in India. A well-organized operation allows you to leave Delhi while limiting exposure to heavy traffic, enabling you to quickly reach smoother roads. Very soon, the atmosphere changes. The route alternates between local roads and tracks, immersing you in a more rural India. Riding becomes more instinctive and the enjoyment grows with each kilometer. You arrive in Alwar, located at the foot of the Aravalli range. This first encounter with the landscapes of Rajasthan offers an ideal transition between city and wide-open spaces. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Alwar - Jaipur - 160 km
The morning allows you to continue exploring the green surroundings of Alwar. You then travel through the Rajasthani countryside, shaped by traditional farming. As you approach Jaipur, Amber Fort appears, dominating the hills at the city's gates. Traffic becomes denser as you enter the Pink City. Jaipur reveals its bustle, colors and energy. This stage plunges you into typically Indian traffic, offering an intense and immersive driving experience. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Jaipur - Pushkar - 190 km
You gradually leave the urban bustle behind. The route takes you to the Sambhar Salt Lake, a vast mineral expanse whose appearance changes with the seasons. The ride alternates between sandy tracks and country lanes, offering a genuine variety of riding sensations. You reach Pushkar, set in the heart of the Aravalli Hills. Built around its sacred lake, the town offers a calmer, more spiritual atmosphere—ideal for a break after the road. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 - Pushkar - Ghanerao - 220 km
You leave Pushkar to head deeper into the Aravalli Hills. The route mainly follows winding roads, ideal for smooth, steady driving. Depending on the pace of the day, a few wilder sections may be added toward the end of the route. After lunch, the descent from the Aravallis takes you into a well-preserved forested area, offering a striking contrast with the previous days. You arrive in Ghanerao, located on the western flank of the range, at the gateway to Marwar, a drier, more mineral landscape. Overnight in a heritage hotel or a jungle lodge.
Day 6 - Ghanerao - Jalore - 190 km
This stage requires a higher level of commitment from the rider. The route brings together several types of terrain, alternating between tracks, more technical sections and open stretches. The Jawai Lake area is a highlight of the day. The landscapes there are unspoilt and off the beaten track. Continuing towards Marwar, the plains become more arid and sandy tracks gradually appear, offering varied and demanding riding. Overnight in a heritage hotel.

Day 7 - Jalore - Barmer - 180 km
You are now traveling in the west of Rajasthan, in the Marusthali region, on the edge of the Thar Desert. The landscapes consist of gentle hills, grassy dunes and crops adapted to aridity, such as pomegranates or castor oil plants. The route favors narrow but well-maintained roads, allowing you to avoid the most difficult sandy areas while retaining the pleasure of driving. You reach Barmer at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 - Barmer - Thar Desert - 200 km
The route heads decisively toward the Thar Desert. The kilometers alternate between small roads and tracks, sometimes firm, sometimes sandier. Some stretches require more physical commitment and concentration. At the end of the day, you pass through isolated villages inhabited by tribal communities before reaching the Thar National Park area. The evening is spent out in nature. You share a simple moment around a campfire under the stars. The night is spent on traditional charpoy beds, equipped with mattresses and blankets.

Day 9 - Thar Desert - Jaisalmer - 65 km
You set off again to reach Jaisalmer. The fortress-city gradually emerges, standing out against the desert landscape. After a break and lunch, you will have free time to explore the town. You can wander the alleys of the fort, visit the palace and the Jain temples, and enjoy the distinctive atmosphere of this desert town. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 - Jaisalmer - Delhi - Domestic flight
A transfer is arranged to Jaisalmer Airport to take your domestic flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free. You can rest or enjoy the Indian capital one last time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - Delhi -
You enjoy your final moments in Delhi before transfer to the international airport, according to your flight schedule. This last day marks the end of this motorcycle journey in Rajasthan, centered around riding, the desert and a gradual immersion into the heart of India.
