Day 1

Marrakech - Zagora

You land in Marrakech in the morning before travelling by road to Zagora, crossing the High Atlas and the landscapes of southern Morocco. Upon arrival, you settle into the Jardin 128 Ecolodge, where you spend the night.

Day 2

Zagora

You enjoy a free morning before discovering Zagora and its souk. You then cross the palm grove and return to the ecolodge for the night.

Day 3

Zagora - Tazarine

You get behind the wheel for your first day of driving and head towards Tazarine. You follow a smooth trail through desert landscapes with the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop. Once there, you discover rock carvings dating back to the Neolithic period before returning to Zagora for the night.

Day 4

Zagora - Tamegroute

You travel by road to Tamegroute and visit the pottery workshops known for their distinctive green glaze. You then continue to the Tinfou dunes for an introduction to sand driving. At the end of the day, you enjoy a camel ride before returning to Zagora.

Day 5

Zagora - Erg Chegaga

After a morning briefing, you set off towards Erg Chegaga. You alternate between rocky trails and sandy sections until you reach the towering dunes. You then settle into your bivouac in the heart of the desert.

Day 6

Erg Chegaga - Zagora

You spend the morning driving through the dunes and learning how to navigate in the desert before heading back to Zagora at the end of the day.

Day 7

Zagora - Marrakech

You head towards Ouarzazate before stopping at the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou. You then cross the High Atlas and reach Marrakech in the evening.
