Dare to cross Morocco’s spectacular landscapes

The first Atlas passes open the way for a gradual journey towards the desert. The trails climb towards Mount M’Goun, descend into the Dadès Gorges and then venture deep into the rugged landscapes of Djebel Saghro. Gradually, the hamada gives way to the dunes of Erg Lihoudi, where you spend a night at a bivouac beneath the stars. The return journey crosses the Anti-Atlas, UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou and the Ounila Valley to the heights of Telouet. A complete itinerary combining mountains, desert and cultural heritage.

Day 1

Marrakech

Day 2

Demnate - Boumalne

You leave Demnate along a winding road through mountains and Berber villages. The scenery gradually becomes more arid. Your first section of trail takes you to the foot of Mount M’Goun before descending towards Boumalne Dadès. Overnight at the entrance to the gorges.

Boumalne - Tazzarine

You can take a detour through the Dadès Gorges before heading towards Djebel Saghro. The trails alternate between rugged plateaus, canyons and isolated oases. After Nkob, you continue towards the desert and reach the Tazzarine region for the night.

Day 4

Tazzarine - Erg Lihoudi

You cross the hamada, a vast rocky plateau ideal for smooth riding. After a break at the foot of the dunes, the trail becomes increasingly sandy. The immensity of the Sahara gradually unfolds before you until you reach Erg Lihoudi, where you spend the night among the dunes.

Erg Lihoudi - Foum Zguid

You ride along Djebel Bani, the natural boundary between inhabited areas and the desert. As you cross Djebel Lahmar, the trails alternate between fast-flowing sections and more technical passages. By the end of the day, you reach the plain leading to Foum Zguid.

Foum Zguid - Ouarzazate

You head north through the rugged landscapes of the Anti-Atlas. Along the way, you can stop in Tazenakht, renowned for its Berber carpets. A final trail section takes you to Ouarzazate, where you spend the night.

The price includes
  • Airport transfers on arrival and departure
  • Rental of a Yamaha 660 Ténéré or Beta Alp 4.0 motorcycle (for packages including motorcycle rental)
  • Two 4×4 support vehicles, one at the front and one at the rear, providing continuous assistance (the cook and driver travel ahead with freshly prepared lunches and chilled drinks, while the mechanic and driver follow the motorcycles with the luggage and logistical equipment)
  • Full board throughout the motorcycle tour
