Each stage combines the pleasure of riding with the discovery of exceptional sites, offering a deep immersion in India’s historic, cultural and vibrant life.

The stages of your motorcycle route

Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by the Planet Ride team, experts in motorcycle travel in India, and then transferred to your hotel, the Amarya Villa, ideally located in the heart of the capital. This first day is designed as a gentle introduction: you will have time to recover from the flight and soak up the Indian atmosphere before the start of your motorcycle adventure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi - Dholpur - 250 km
The morning begins with a car transfer to Agra to discover the Taj Mahal. This visit allows you to gradually immerse yourself in the history and culture of northern India before heading to Rajasthan. At the end of the day, you reach Dholpur and settle in at the Raj Niwas Palace, a former princely residence. A first immersion in the Rajasthani way of life, in a setting steeped in history.
Day 3 - Dholpur - Ramathra - 160 km
Your Royal Enfield motorcycle journey truly begins today. You take the handlebars for the first leg through open landscapes, between semi-arid areas and cultivated countryside. The riding is smooth and gradual, ideal for finding your bearings. Towards the end of the route, you reach Ramathra Fort, perched on a hill and overlooking a peaceful lake. Still inhabited by the founding family, this place offers a rare immersion into Rajasthani heritage. Overnight at the fort.
Day 4 - Ramathra - Ranthambore - 65 km
You continue your route towards Ranthambore National Park. The motorcycle gives way to the jeep for an exploration of the reserve, known for the diversity of its wildlife. Depending on access conditions and visitor numbers, you set out to encounter wildlife in an unspoiled environment. At the end of the day, you return to your eco-lodge, nestled in the heart of nature, for a calm and restful evening.
Day 5 - Ranthambore - Bundi - 130 km
You set off again by motorcycle through the Rajasthani countryside. The route alternates between villages, cultivated fields and small towns away from the main tourist routes. In Bundi you take time to explore the old town, its bazaar and its palace, famous for its wall paintings. The day ends with an overnight stay in a traditional haveli, offering an authentic insight into Rajput architecture.
Day 6 - Bundi - Shahpura - 120 km
This stage takes you to Shahpura via a varied route, combining quiet roads and more rural sections. The region is dotted with bodies of water that attract many species of birds. You will stay at Shahpura Bagh, a former princely summer retreat surrounded by gardens. A comfortable stop, ideal for relaxing after the drive.
Day 7 - Shahpura - Sardargarh - 130 km
Today you head toward the Aravalli Hills, the geographic backbone of Rajasthan. The road gently gains elevation and offers a more engaging drive. On arrival, Sardargarh Fort dominates the area. Still inhabited, it bears witness to the history of the local principalities and makes for a memorable stop on the journey. Overnight at the fort.
Day 8 - Sardargarh - Udaipur - 115 km
You cross the Aravalli Range along a winding route, punctuated by scenes of rural life: shepherds, herds and isolated villages mark your progress. This day particularly highlights the immersive aspect of motorcycle travel in India. On arrival, Udaipur unfolds around Lake Pichola. You take time to explore the city and its palaces before spending the night there.
Day 9 - Udaipur - Delhi -
The morning is free in Udaipur to stroll or to further explore the city. You then head to the airport for a domestic flight to Delhi. Check into the Amarya Villa hotel for your final night in India.
Day 10 - Delhi -
Depending on your flight schedule, you can enjoy your final moments in the Indian capital before the transfer to the international airport. Your motorcycle trip in Rajasthan comes to an end, leaving you with memories of a balanced itinerary combining riding, heritage and cultural immersion.
