Day 1
Cape Town Arrival
Welcome to South Africa and our motorcycle tours Cape Town. You’ll be welcomed at the airport by our driver and taken over to your hotel in Cape Town’s center. The cosmopolitan, dynamic city lies underneath the enchanting Table Mountain which you can reach by cable car. Take some time to savor the sights and sounds of this great place. In the evening, you’ll meet with your motorcycle tour leader for dinner.

Day 2
Cape Town – Hermanus
Our motorbike tours of South Africa begin! Time to climb aboard your Royal Enfield and leave Cape Town as we head southeast for the coast. We’ll ride along the coastal roads which offer majestic views of False Bay’s opal waters. During lunch time, we’ll stop at Betty’s Bay where you’ll be able to hang out with the penguins who live there !

Day 3
Hermanus – Swellendam
The roads are easy in the morning as we leave Hermanus. We are off to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point on the African continent. We’ll delight in the sea air and enjoy the “edge of the world feeling” and enjoy the local tastes of the fresh fish of the day for lunch.

Day 4
Swellendam – Volmoed
Today, we are going to push ourselves on our motorbike tours in South Africa! It’s time to take our Royal Enfields up the Tradouw Pass which leading into the Klein Karoo or entryway into the massive Karoo Desert. Now, we are on the renowned Route 62. We’ll stop for a coffee at the famous Route 62 haunt, the Ronnie Sex Shop, one of the area’s most iconic and unique places. Then we’re back on the roads flying across the desert !

Day 5
Volmoed – Knysna
We’re back headed South towards the ocean on our motorbike tours South Africa. We’ll carve our way along the Garden Route on winding tracks that lead through the regions massive ostrich farms. As we come upon the desert, we’ll hit the Knysna Lagoon where the first European visitors logged the forests and built settlements.

Day 6
Knysna – Oudtshoorn
After a few days across the Western Cape’s arid province, we’ll have a change of pace as we ride through the deep, lush forests. We’ll have lunch on the enchanting banks of a river before we hit stretches of the “Little Karoo.” Finally, we’ll hit the city of Oudtshoorn, which calls itself the “ostrich capital of the world.” Guess, we’ll have to make a little visit to an ostrich farm.

Day 7
Oudtshoorn
We depart in the morning to explore the Cango Caves on our motorcycle tours South Africa, which lie in the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains. Here we’ll take a secret trail directly into the Meiringspoort Gorges heading back in the direction of the “Great Karoo.” As the temperature climbs in this desert region, you’ll be happy when we reach the verdant Prince Albert Village, a garden town with fresh, local cuisine.

Day 8
Oudtshoorn – Matjiesfontein
Our Royal Enfield South Africa challenges you once again as we head for the stars. We’ll ride through the mountains to Calitzdorp, a small town known for its porto wine. Then, we’re back on Route 62 as we ride into the stunning Seweweekspoort Canyon. Around sunset, these desert landscapes are simply majestic !

Day 9
Matjiesfontein – Montagu
Our motorcycle tours South Africa continue in the morning, we jump on Highway 1, South Africa’s longest road which connects Cape Town and Johannesburg. We headed to the mysterious Anysberg where a deserted road leads us to the Ouberg Pass and our home from the night, a wilderness reserve settled deep in the lost valley.

Day 10
Montagu – Franschhoek
We’ll wind through thirty kilometers of trail making our way through Montagu Village and it’s hot springs. From here, we continue into Breede River Valley and enter the vineyard region. Here, we’ll have a lovely picnic before we experience the splendor of Franschhoek Pass. Today’s a great day to savor the wine tasting and excellent food.

Day 11
Franschhoek – Cape Town
On our last day of our motorbike tours of South Africa, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the wilderness of the Cape Town Peninsula. We’ll travel sixty kilometers quickly down the highway and then reach the ocean. Here we’ll stop at the charming port, Simon’s Town which was the 19th century home to a Royal Navy Base. The amazing coastal roads here are the perfect place to see the incredible flora and fauna of the region as we finally reach the mystical Cape of Good Hope !

Day 12
Cape Town International Airport
Depending on your flight’s departure time, you’ll still have an opportunity to explore and enjoy some motorcycle tours of Cape Town. There’s plenty of good shopping and eating to do before we transfer you back over to the airport for your flight !
