Mongolia Through Picturesque Environments

Arrive in Ulan Bator for your introduction to Mongolia. Dependent on you flight, we will welcome you at the airport for a transfer to the hotel. Explore the city as it sits 1350-meters within the valley of the southern flowing Tuul River. The 30 by 15-kilometer city is home to over a million residents in nine districts. At the center, mixed architecture is surrounded by chaos that offers a variety of activities uncommon to a typical urban environment. Choose from horseback riding, meeting a nomadic family, fine dining, or simply relaxing in a luxurious spa.

After an early breakfast, we meet the tour leader and transfer 30-kilometers to our motorcycles and departing point. We will then start 220-kilometer journey, by riding through the steppes with majestic mountains in the background. Passing herds of cows and sheep, you should be on the lookout for the odd eagle taking off from afar. Our 5 to 6-hour ride ends at the only guesthouse upon the road; a simple luxury for all.

Our 140-kilometer ride begins with a breathtaking morning view of Ogil Nuur. We set on a trail taking us directly to the heart of vast steppes that seemingly have no end. We cruise through rolling plains and hills sparsely populated by the local population. We are greeted at our yurt camp for the evening to a relaxing bath in a hot spring.

Mongolia Motorcycle tours take a wonderful trip into the rugged river valley along the Orhon. We rise above the steppes to the stunning hill and volcanic mountains of Khangai. By afternoon, we’ll arrive at our host’s homes to discover an authentically nomadic way of life. In proximity to waterfalls, each yurt for the night will room 3 to 4 people.

Today, we take our motorcycle tours in Mongolia to a more traditional mode of travel. Upon horses and alongside several guides, we’ll ride through the unforgettable Orhon Valley. By afternoon, we are back on our motorcycles for a short ride to our next yurt camp.

With a beautiful setting around us, we will leave northern Mongolia upon our classic Royal Enfield motorcycles. Several challenging off-road paths brings us to the ancient capital of Genghis Khan’s prolific empire. We stay overnight in Qaraqorum at our next yurt camp.

A late check-out enables you to visit museums and temples in the area that describe a glorious Mongolian Empire or simply catch-up on some sleep. After lunch, we take to an off-road route towards the sand dunes of Khogno Khan. The wind carries the sand up the foothills of the mountains to create what some call the Small Gobi Desert. The night is spent in a yurt camp.

A five-hour drive from Khogno Khan to Ulan Bator across plains and deserts wraps-up your final day driving through Mongolia.  After enjoying the magnificent landscapes across the steppes, we arrive in the city center by the end of the day. Dropping off the motorcycles and transferring to the hotel opens a leisurely night.

A free day for those who have a late afternoon flight or wish to stay longer in Ulan Bator. Enjoy the unique, yet hectic atmosphere, that makes a strong impression on all that visit. A taxi will pick you up at the hotel to take you directly to the airport where our Mongolia motorbike tour ends.
