Day 1

Kittilä

You arrive in Lapland and are welcomed at the airport. A minibus transfer takes you to your lodge at the foot of the Tunturri mountains. After settling into your chalets, you enjoy a welcome drink and are introduced to the programme for the coming snowmobile days. Traditional dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Pallas Tunturri Park

You set off to explore Pallas Tunturri National Park. You cross the boreal forest and follow the park’s snow-covered trails. Lunch around a fire in the heart of nature. You then return to the chalets for the night. Sauna at the end of the day.

Day 3

Eastern Side of the Tunturri – Norwegian Border

You head north and discover the eastern side of the Tunturri. You cross Lake Enontekiö in northern Finland. Lunch along the way. You then travel across the tundra to the Norwegian border. Arrival at the chalets at the end of the day. Sauna followed by dinner beside the lake.

Day 4

Norwegian Border – Return to the Tunturri

You head south again, following the same route in reverse. You cross the tundra, the lake and the Tunturri landscapes before reaching your accommodation.

Day 5

The Kotta

You visit a husky kennel before setting off on a dog-sled ride through the taiga. Lunch in a Lappish village. You then visit the Nature Centre before spending the evening at a reindeer farm. Overnight stay.

Day 6

Swedish Border

You set off on a snowmobile stage towards the border between Finland and Sweden. You cross mountainous terrain before reaching the border area. Overnight in a cabin or guesthouse, depending on availability.

Boreal Forests

You head south, following a river that marks the border. You travel through a region inhabited by reindeer and moose. After a picnic around a fire, you cross the boreal forests before reaching your chalet for the night.
