Day 1 Saint-Florent
Today is all about getting the hang of Corsica. Depending on what time you arrive, you can enjoy the pool at the hotel or cruise around the port area and have a glass of wine and watch sunset. Today is a good day to get your Corsica motorcycle rental and get the hang of the roads and the bike. Just be ready for an early night because our adventure begins in the morning.
Day 2 Cap Corse
130 km - 3h of riding
Today is when your motorcycle tour Corsica really begins. You will ride to the Bastia area in order to hit the road along the east coast of the Cape of Corsica. This is a lovely day’s ride, taking you through fantastic little ports including those at Erbalunga and Centuri (which is famous for lobster!). The road gently curves along the coast, with views out across the Mediterranean and towards the Italian islands of Capraia and Elba. Having driven up the east coast, and along the top, the road returns down the magnificent west coast, with incredible views of the mountains plunging into the sea. At the end of the day, you will pass through the cliff-top perched village of Nonza and the capital of Corsican winemaking, Patrimonio, before heading back to your hotel.
Day 3 Agriates's desert - Calvi
120-200 km - 3h of riding
Today’s ride along unforgettable Corsica motorcycle routes will allow you to discover the Balagne. You will cross the ‘Desert des Agriates’ to join some secret small roads that only locals know about. Driving through the heart of the Balagne, you will join the route des Artisans, before dropping back down to the coast at Calvi. Today you are really going to appreciate your Corsica motorcycle rental. You must spend time discovering the lively port of Calvi and its ancient citadel, before returning to St. Florent via Nebbio. This day can be as long as short as you want. It is a good opportunity to go down some random roads and see what you can find! Then you end by returning to your hotel in Saint-Florent.
Day 4 Saint-Florent - Corte - Zonza
210 km – 4h of riding
Today the motorcycle tour Corsica is going to be a transition from North to South as you drive through the ancient capital of the island, Corte. It would be criminal not to stop here for lunch—and we have some good recommendations for you too! After Corte, you will take the mountain roads, winding up and over the hills before reaching the area of Alta Rocca and its high hilltop villages. The view will take your breath away!
Day 5 Corte Bonifacio
124 km - 3h of riding
This is a splendid day, where you get to discover what the South of the island has to offer. This includes the highlights of Corsica including the “most beautiful” beach of the island, Palombaggia, the superb cliffs of Bonifacio, the Gulf of Spérone, and the Lavezzi islands. What better way to get the most out of your Corsica motorcycle rental is there?
Taking a boat trip around the Lavezzi Islands is highly recommended so you can see the natural caves and really enjoy the beauty of the area. Just be sure you don’t forget your bathing suit!
Day 6 Zonza - Ospedale - Porto Vecchio - Bavella - Zonza
169 km – 4h of riding
If you think there can’t possibly be any more surprises in store for you during your motorcycle tour Corsica, then you are wrong! As you cruise back into the interior of the island, you will get to explore the superb stone villages of the Alta Rocca.
This area is renowned for the lake of Ospédale and the unforgettable forests that surround it. However, the real highlight of the day is the famous Needles of Bavella, truly incredible stony ridges along the mountains. On your way back, we highly recommend you stop to relax in the natural swimming pools at Solenzara.
Day 7 Zonza - Bastia
Depending on what time you leave Corsica, you will be able to choose the best Corsica motorcycle routes for you—either a direct trip back to the city or one more day of adventure and discovery. If you have the time, take the small roads through the Castagniccia, one of the most wild and authentic areas of Corsica. The ride will take you back through the Nebbio before you arrive at your final destination, the port of Bastia where you head home or continue your journey through Europe.
