Starting from Cluj-Napoca, the route heads into the Apuseni Mountains before tackling the spectacular Transalpina, climbing above 2,000 metres, and the iconic Transfăgărășan with its dramatic high-altitude switchbacks. The itinerary also includes Bran Castle and the medieval citadel of Sighișoara. Day 1

Cluj-Napoca - Turda

Upon arrival in Cluj-Napoca, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to Turda. After checking into your hotel, enjoy some free time to experience the atmosphere of Transylvania. Wander through the town, sample local cuisine or simply relax before the start of your motorcycle adventure through the Carpathian Mountains. Overnight stay in Turda.
Day 2

Turda - Apuseni Mountains - Turda | 195 km including 25 km of gravel roads

After collecting your motorcycle, you head towards the Apuseni Mountains, one of Romania's most unspoilt regions. Known for its limestone landscapes, dense forests and hundreds of caves, the area offers a fantastic introduction to riding in Romania. Throughout the day, you pass through remote villages and ride alongside ancient salt and gold mines dating back to Roman times. Depending on the selected package, an easy gravel section adds an extra touch of adventure. Return and overnight stay in the Turda region.
Day 3

Turda - Transalpina

Today, you ride one of Europe's most spectacular mountain roads. Known as the "King's Road", the Transalpina climbs above 2,000 metres as it winds through the Carpathian Mountains. Endless curves, sweeping ridgelines and breathtaking views make this a highlight of the journey. Along the way, you visit the UNESCO-listed Horezu Monastery and discover the region's long-standing ceramic traditions. Overnight stay in the region.

Transalpina - Transfăgărășan

Another unforgettable riding day awaits in the Carpathians. Your route leads to the legendary Transfăgărășan Highway, often ranked among the world's greatest driving roads. Before tackling its famous switchbacks, you stop in Curtea de Argeș, once the capital of Wallachia, and visit the ruins of Poienari Fortress, closely linked to the story of Vlad the Impaler. The road then climbs high into the mountains before descending through dramatic scenery. Overnight stay in the region.
