Explore the Balkans' most scenic roads

From the mountains of Greek Macedonia to the shores of the Albanian Riviera, this motorcycle tour takes you along some of the Balkans' most spectacular roads. Leaving Thessaloniki behind, you'll ride to the peaceful shores of Lake Orestiada before crossing into Albania. Twisting mountain passes give way to the wild Vjosa Valley, while the historic towns of Gjirokastër and Berat, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, reveal a remarkably well-preserved cultural heritage. Between traditional villages, scenic mountain passes, the Prespa Lakes, and little-travelled roads, this itinerary offers an authentic immersion into one of Europe's lesser-known regions, where the joy of riding blends with thousands of years of history.
