Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1
Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our expert team and transferred to your centrally located hotel. This first day allows you to recover from the flight and begin to get a feel for the Indian capital. Depending on your energy, you may take an initial tour of Delhi before the rest of the trip. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Day 2 - Delhi – Nimmu - 35 km
You take a domestic flight to Leh. On arrival, a private transfer is arranged to reach the village of Nimmu, following the course of the Indus. This day is dedicated to acclimatization, an essential stage on this high-altitude motorcycle journey. The pace is intentionally slow to allow your body to adapt. A short walk around the Nimmu House and its oasis can be planned. Overnight in Nimmu.
Day 3
Day 3 - Nimmu - 30 to 90 km
This day has no distance constraints. You remain in the Nimmu area to continue acclimatizing. Depending on how you feel, short motorcycle rides may be offered along the Indus on quiet, open roads. The aim is to find your rhythm and to calmly prepare for the first more demanding stages. Overnight in Nimmu.

Day 4
Day 4 - Nimmu – Temisgam - 70 km
You head west along the road toward Kargil. The route follows the Indus Valley and allows smooth riding, ideal for a first proper day on the bike. A stop is planned at the Alchi Monastery, known for its ancient architecture and remarkably well-preserved wall paintings. You then continue to Temisgam, a village dominated by its perched monastery. Overnight there.
Day 5
Day 5 - Temisgam - Lamayuru – Temisgam - 80 km
You set out to discover Lamayuru, one of the most iconic monasteries in Ladakh. The road crosses the region's characteristic mineral landscapes and offers a steady drive. After the visit, you return to Temisgam. If time allows, exploring the valley reveals the local palace and monastery amid more verdant surroundings. Overnight in Temisgam.
Day 6
Day 6 - Temisgam - Leh - 115 km
The motorcycle journey continues as you follow the Indus upstream, between the Zanskar and Ladakh ranges. The route follows a little-used corridor that passes through well-preserved villages, including Yangtang. Two passes above 4,000 metres punctuate the day. The pace remains measured, the riding requiring attention and steadiness. You reach Leh at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7
Day 7 - Leh - Summor - 115 km
You leave Leh heading for Khardung La. The gradual ascent to this legendary pass is a highlight of the trip, both for the altitude and the driving it demands. After crossing the pass, you descend toward the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The contrast is striking: the landscape opens up, and the pace slows. You reach Sumur, in the heart of the Nubra Valley. Overnight there.
Day 8
Day 8 - Nubra Valley - 50 to 100 km
You spend this day exploring the Nubra Valley. By motorcycle, you ride to the Hunder sand dunes and the Diskit Monastery. Short walks allow you to discover another side of this region: stone walls, willows, poplars, and irrigation channels create an unexpected oasis in this high-altitude desert. Overnight in the valley.
Day 9
Day 9 - Summor - Leh - 160 km
Today you cross the Wari La, a little-used pass rising to about 5,300 meters. The track is rocky and punctuated by a few fords. A picnic lunch is planned out in the mountains, in an isolated setting. You reach Leh at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Day 10 - Leh – Delhi -
Early in the morning, you are transferred to Leh airport to take a domestic flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, a transfer is arranged to your hotel. This day marks a gradual departure from the Himalayan realm and offers a transition period before your return.
Day 11
Day 11 - Delhi -
According to the timing of your international flight, you will be transferred to the airport. This motorcycle trip to Ladakh concludes after an itinerary designed for riders, combining gradual acclimatization, high-altitude riding, cultural immersion, and characterful accommodations.
