Day 1

Denpasar International Airport – Ubud

Upon your arrival in Bali, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to Ubud, the cultural heart of the island. After checking into your hotel, enjoy some free time to discover the unique atmosphere of this charming town, renowned for its temples, art galleries, traditional markets and Balinese dance performances.

Day 2

Ubud - Belimbing

After the motorcycle presentation and a comprehensive briefing with your tour leader, you set off on your first ride through the Balinese countryside. The route follows quiet roads winding between rice terraces and traditional villages. Along the way, you stop at the Sangeh Monkey Forest, famous for its temple surrounded by towering trees and its population of free-roaming macaques. By the end of the day, you arrive in the Belimbing region, nestled among lush plantations and the rolling green hills of western Bali.

Day 3

Belimbing - Licin

Your journey continues toward Bali's northern coast along a winding road that crosses mountains and lush tropical plantations. After several kilometres following the coastline, you arrive in Gilimanuk, where you board the ferry to Java. A short crossing brings you to the neighbouring island before continuing to Licin, the gateway to the volcanic adventures awaiting over the next few days.

Day 4

Licin - Jember

An early start takes you to the slopes of Mount Ijen. A hike leads to the rim of its famous crater, where you can admire the immense acidic lake at sunrise. After this unforgettable experience, you get back on your motorcycles and continue through the peaceful rural landscapes of Java, following quiet roads toward Jember.

Jember - Cemoro Lawang

You continue your journey across western Java. As the landscape gradually changes, the island's Javanese culture becomes increasingly present. The route winds through traditional villages, plantations and scenic mountain roads before reaching Cemoro Lawang, perched on the edge of the vast Mount Bromo caldera. In the afternoon, you have time to explore the spectacular volcanic surroundings.

Cemoro Lawang - Ambulu

Before sunrise, you head to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Watch the first light of day illuminate the volcanoes before descending into the vast volcanic sand caldera. Crossing this immense mineral desert, dominated by the smoking cone of Mount Bromo, is one of the most memorable highlights of the journey. Afterwards, you get back on your motorcycles and continue your ride toward Ambulu.

Ambulu - Sukamade

Today's stage takes you away from the usual tourist routes, following small roads through the surroundings of Meru Betiri National Park. The scenery alternates between dense jungle, tropical plantations and remote villages. By the end of the day, you leave the motorcycles behind and continue by 4x4 vehicle to Sukamade. After nightfall, you head to a secluded beach to witness sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs, offering one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences of the journey.

Sukamade - Pemuteran

Early risers have the opportunity to witness the release of baby sea turtles before leaving Sukamade by 4x4 vehicle through the jungle. You then reunite with your motorcycles and ride to Banyuwangi, where you board the ferry back to Bali. Back on Bali's scenic roads, you continue to Pemuteran, a peaceful village on the island's northwestern coast.

Pemuteran – Menjangan Island

This free day gives you the opportunity to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Menjangan region, renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life. You may choose to join an optional snorkeling or scuba diving excursion around the island, located within the protected waters of West Bali National Park.
Day 10

Pemuteran - Amed

Today's ride takes you across northern and central Bali on one of the island's most scenic routes. The road first follows the coastline before climbing into the volcanic highlands of the interior. Along the way, you'll enjoy lush tropical landscapes dominated by the majestic Mount Batur. The route then descends toward the east coast, reaching the peaceful village of Amed, renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and black volcanic beaches.
Day 11

Amed - Ubud

Today marks your final day of riding along Bali's scenic back roads. The route passes through several traditional villages, with stops at the Amlapura Market and in Pakudui, a village renowned for its skilled woodcarvers. You return to Ubud in the afternoon, where you'll have free time to explore the town, shop for souvenirs or simply relax at your hotel.

  • Airport – hotel – airport transfers as included in the itinerary, by private vehicle.
  • Support: a French- and English-speaking motorcycle guide on riding days.
  • A local team: an Indonesian guide, an experienced mechanic and the driver of the support vehicle, including their accommodation and meals.
  • A support vehicle for transporting equipment and luggage.
  • Accommodation: standard hotels in twin rooms (two single beds or one double bed). Solo travellers will share a twin room with another participant. Single room supplement available on request.
  • Meals: full board (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) on riding days, including water, tea and coffee.
  • Entrance fees to Bromo National Park.
