Expedition Across the Tunisian Sahara

The team awaits you at the Tatooine Motorcycle Base where you’ll enjoy a welcome drink to kick off your motorcycle Tunisia adventure. We recommend heading first to Ksar Ghilane Oasis, a beautiful hot spring where you can take a nice swim. Then jump back on your bike and drive south. You’ll stop at the foot of Dakunus to enjoy camp for the night. There’s no better introduction to the Tunisian Sahara than by a fire under a million stars.

Time for your first full day on the motorcycle racing across the Eastern Erg sands experiencing Tunisia travel. After you’ve crossed the big dunes, Lake Ain Ouadette will appear in the distance. Sourced from an underground hot spring, this charming lake is often home to members of the R’baya, nomadic tribes. If you’re lucky, you might have the opportunity to meet a few. Then set up camp for another magical night under the desert sky.

You’ll challenge your skills today as we spend the entire day off-road zooming across the Sahara on our Tunisia road trip. New dunes await us to the North where we’ll create fresh tracks in the desert. By afternoon, we’ll reach El Jebil National Park and the Timbaine Camp. It’s a great place to savor a little break from the adrenaline rush before arriving to the Zmela Lebrissa Camp. You’ll spend the night in a Berber Tent, soaking up this truly incredible and magical setting.
