Day 1 Tours - Chinon
100 km of road – 4h 30min of driving
You start the first day of your trip by following the banks of the Cher river, before taking the road that leads to the majestic Loire river. On the way, you will cross several castles of west Touraine, particularly Villandry, Langeais, Ussé and its famous castle of the Sleeping Beauty. You end the day with wine tasting in one of the cellars of Chinon.
Jour 2 Chinon - Amboise
130 km of road –5h driving
After breakfast, you set out on the road to first follow the Vienne river, then the Indre river and finally, the Loire. You take the routes that are largely unknown to the conventional tourists. You ride along the troglodyte valley of Courtineau, and then pass through two of the most beautiful villages in France: Crissay sur Manse and Montrésor. Finally, you arrive in Amboise in the evening where you will stay overnight.
Jour 3 Amboise - Tours
130 km of road - 6h driving
For this last day in the Loire Valley, you visit some of the most beautiful and famous castles in the region on your way to Tours. Amboise, Chenonceau, Chaumont, Cheverny and most importantly, Chambord wait for you! You then take the little roads through Sologne and the vineyards of Touraine before finally arriving at your destination.
