    Day 1 Gaillac

80 km of roads - 1h of driving

Our local expert partner, Yoann’s team will welcome you at your charming accommodation. In the morning, you take your 2CV for a spin to the vineyards of Gaillac. Stop over at the domain to taste the wine. Learn about the wine production process at the vineyard known for its seven wines. In the evening, enjoy the local delicacies for dinner and have a comfortable stay in your charming accommodation.

Day 2 Gaillac - Castelnau de Montmiral - Najac - Laguépie - Gaillac

    125 km of roads - 1h 30m of driving

After a hearty breakfast, take your 2CV to visit the first walled towns in the Gaillac region. Enjoy a coffee or a tea at the beautiful central square of Castelnau-de-Montmiral. Drive to the stunning limestone plateaus overlooking the Aveyron and its ‘Noble Valley’. Enjoy your lunch in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and then explore this charming town through its cobbled streets. Drive your 2CV to Najac, classed as one of ‘the most beautiful villages of France’ and its imposing château fort overlooking the Aveyron river. Head to the country of vineyards and bastides, stopping in Laguépie for a refreshing break. You visit a small wine domaine on your way back to Gaillac.

    Day 3 Gaillac - Puycelsi - Cordes-sur-Ciel - Gaillac

130 km of roads - 2h of driving

Head to a typical southwestern market of local producers in the morning. Enjoy a stroll around the colourful and fragrant stalls and the beautiful mansions of this small town. You drive through the valley filled with cypress trees and churches, before arriving in the quiet walled village of Puycelsi, situated high above the Vère river, where you stop for lunch. Continue for a few more kilometres through the rocky vistas of the valley to arrive at the castle of Penne that sits atop a rocky hill defying all laws of gravity. You then drive to the medieval city of Cordes-sur-Ciel sitting high atop a hill and named as the ‘Preferred Village of the French’ in 2015. You then leave to meet Damien and know more about his natural brews before returning to your charming accommodation. Enjoy a hearty dinner with some excellent wines, carefully selected to go with your food.

    Day 4 Gaillac - Albi - Gaillac

55 km of roads - 1h of driving

Drive your vintage 2CV along the roads of Gaillac’ vineyards before arriving in Albi, the red city, with its monumentale Cathedral Sainte-Cécile, the largest brick cathedral in the world. In this Episcopal city classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, you visit the cathedral as well as the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum that holds the largest collection of works by the French artist. For lunch, you have a wide choice of excellent restaurants in Albi. Return to reality at the end of the evening and your trip.
