Day 1 Chiang Mai Arrival
Arrive into Chiang Mai, Thailand second largest city. We’ll help you get over to your hotel. From here, we recommend enjoy the great city before we head off on one of the best motorbike tours of thailand.
Day 2 Chiang Mai
Before you set off on your journey, you’ll want to get familiar with your bike, your equipment and the rules of the world. After breakfast, we’ll have a briefing session where you’ll learning everything you need to know to make the most out of your adventure.
Day 3 Chiang Mai - Mae Sariang
Are you ready to get started? We head out towards the southwest on the mountain roads outside of Chiang Mai. On our motorcycle tours in thailand, there are no big highways, but charming small roads that have little traffic and incredible beauty.
Day 4 Mae Sariang - Mae Hong Son
On the next day you are going to start along the renowned Mae Hong Son Loop. You can beat Thailand motorcycle tours like this! As you journey up the roads to Khun Yuam, you’ll hit numerous switchbacks testing both your skills while amazing your eyes. You’ll be only thirty miles from the Myanmar border and at the crossroads of a wide variety of cultures and people. You can even stop at the local market and enjoy the Burmese style teak temples there.
Day 5 Mae Hong Son – Paï
Today is really going to prove your motorcycle skills as you journey along one of the most winding roads of Thailand. As you curve through the incredible scenery, we recommend you stop off at Soppong where you can take a bamboo raft to the famous Tham Lot Caverns. We hope you like bats! After this you’ll continue along the Mae Hong Son loop and reach the incredible region of Pai.
Day 6 Pai - Doi Ang Khang
You are going to hug the Myanmar border as you journey on our motorcycle tours in thailand along the untouched beauty of Thailand’s north west province. As you experience this beautiful nature, you head up the famed Doi Ang Khang Mountain which is nearly five thousand feet tall. Get ready to enjoy a little cool weather, this region referred to as Little Switzerland is famous for having some lovely mild weather year-round.
Day 7 Doi Ang Khang - Tha Ton
You will keep journeying through the northern corridor of our Thailand motorcycle tours along the border of Myanmar. After you descend from the high plateaus you’ll reach the verdant plains of Fang. These roads are taking you through some of the remotest parts of the country and here you will truly appreciate the untouched beauty. You’ll finish the day in the peaceful town Tha Ton which is located nearby the famed Golden Triangle.
Day 8 Tha Ton - Doi Mae Salong - Mae Sai - Chiang Saen
Now we continue our motorbike tours through thailand northbound that will take you on the small roads that separate Myanmar and Thailand. By midday you’ll be in the Mekong Plain which is the center of the Golden Triangle and the region of three country borders Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. One of the most famous places in all of Southeast Asia.
Day 9 Chiang Saen
After all this riding on our Thailand motorcycle tours, you are going to enjoy a little time of the bike to just kick back and relax. Enjoy the small town and truly relax. And if you have to get on the like, ten you can enjoy the loop around the Chiang Saen region !
Day 10 Chiang Saen – Chiang Kham
We hope you enjoyed your day off in Chiang Saen because now it’s time to get back on the road and drive south along the most incredible part of the route, the road along the Mekong. You’ll wind along the river near the border with Laos as you criss cross the mountains and stop at some spectacular temples along the way.
Day 11 Chiang Saen – Chiang Kham
It’s time to start looping back from the east towards Chiang Mai as you wrap up our unbeatable motorbike tours of thailand. You’ll experience the incredible mountain road to Nan today where we highly recommend stopping for lunch. As you make your way to Lampang, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, which is one of the most famous temples in Thailand.
Day 12 Lampang - Chiang Mai
This is your last day of your motorcycle tours in thailand so make the most of it! Enjoy the great roads, but before you do, be sure you stop at the elephant conservation center located outside Lampang. It’s incredible sanctuary for these wondrous animals. Then head back to the big city and wave goodbye to the great bike that took you on such an epic journey.
