    Day 1 Arrive in Negombo

    Your Sri Lanka Royal Enfield adventure begins as you’re met at the airport and transferred to Negombo. Settle into the hotel before catching some time near the beach or pool.


    Day 2 Negombo - Kalpitiya

    130 km

    Begin your journey along the western coast driving towards the peninsula of Kalpitiya. Leaving the standard roads behind, you ride trails bordering ocean and lagoon. Fork off towards the peninsula at the Puttalam Lagoon.

    Day 3 Kalpitiya - Sigiriya

    Your Sri Lanka motorcycle tours head towards the central-northern region of the island, home to the famous Cultural Triangle. You’re deep in a tropical wonderland as superb landscapes mix with jungle, rice fields, coconut plantations, and a number of small lakes. Arrive in Sigiriya and the impressive Lion Rock.

    Day 4 Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

    After cruising around the area, we have lunch in the countryside. Go as far as the former capital Polonnaruwa to visit the Archaeological Museum. There you will find the famous reclining Buddha carved in rock. Choose to unwind by the pool the rest of the afternoon.

    Day 5 Sigiriya - Knuckles Range

    Day 6 Knuckles Range - Kandy

    This day of your Sri Lanka motorbike tours leaves plenty of time to explore a mountainous region listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After enjoying the terrain, we hop back on the road towards Kandy. Check in to the hotel before a ceremonious visit to Tooth Temple, named for the holy relic it houses.

    Day 7 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

    Climb into the heart of the tea region via a winding road through stunning landscapes. The air grows cooler as we rise up to an elevation of nearly 2,000-meters. Before reaching Nuwara Eliya, the highest town in the country, you’ll be introduced to the secrets of cultivating the famous Ceylon tea.

    Day 8 Nuwara Eliya - Ella

    60 km

    Only a short stretch today on your Sri Lanka Royal Enfield adventure. Savor the scenery of tea plantations as far as the eye can see. Loosen up with a drink atop Little Adam’s Peak after settling into the hotel.

    Day 9 Ella - Yala

    120 km

    Today we’ll ride southwards on a wonderful country road past the Yala National Park, one of the country’s largest natural reserves. Go on safari in the afternoon.

    Day 10 Yala - Tangalle

    110 km

    Make the most of your last day in the saddle. Set off west along the southern coast following the boundary of Bundala National Park, whose lagoons host thousands of birds. Arrive in Tangalle to enjoy beaches lined with coconut trees demanding attention.

    Day 11 Tangalle - Negombo

    Travel by private vehicle along the southern coast to the airport in the morning. Stop off in Galle and visit the 17th-century fort, a legacy left by Dutch settlers. Continue north to be dropped off at the airport.
