Price includes :
- Rental of a Harley-Davidson 883 IRON or 1200 Sportster motorcycle, for a solo driver with his fuel for the whole circuit to and from our Antananarivo agency
- Hotel and full board (excluding alcoholic beverages)
- Fresh water
- Parks and recreational activities described in the circuit
- Airport shuttles
- A T-shirt
- A 4×4 vehicle accompanying and assistance with motorcycle trailer, will accompany throughout the journey and will be responsible for transporting your luggage and all mechanical and logistical equipment necessary for travel. (including the cost of fuel and a driver)
- A bilingual guide and motorbike (with its accommodation and meals) who will be the coordinator of the assistance team and will ensure the security and smooth running of the circuit. This vehicle can also accommodate non-bikers who will enjoy the same route as bikers
- The insurance on the bike with an RC of 300 000 € approx. (in Ariary) The deductible (1000 €) remaining your responsibility in case of damage or theft, an electronic imprint of the amount of the deductible will be charged by the provider
- SLI insurance (third party liability, which covers you up to € 100,000)

- Personal expenses
- The amount of all or part of the franchise in case of damage on the motorcycle

Day 1 Antananarivo Arrival
Your Madagascar Adventure begins! Our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you over to your hotel where you’ll meet your guides and fellow riders on the journey. We’ll enjoy dinner at one of our favorite spots before getting some rest before the first day of our trip. Get ready to experience Madagascar by motorbike!

Day 2 Antananarivo - Antsirabe

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be taken to Madagascar Antananarivo Madagascar Riders to pick up your bike and beging the Madagascar road trip. Here you’ll meet up with your team and have a short briefing about what to expect on your journey. You’ll have all the information you need to know before we head off. As make our way out of the sea, the suburbs will fade away as we emerge into the rice fields and charming countryside. We’ll stop at Ambatolampy to visit some artisanal sites before wrapping up in Antsirabe for the day.

Day 3 Antsirabe - Highlands Discovery
80 km
We’ll visit Antisrabe’s famous market in the morning then enjoy a city before heading to Betafo. In Betafo we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfalls overlooking the gorges. Then in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy some relaxation in the natural hot springs before heading back to Antsirabe.

Day 4 Antsirabe - Ranomafana
265 km
We’re motoring along the curvy roads that lead into the Tapias (endemic tree) Forests of the Malagasy Highlands. We’ll pass through Ambositra, a local artisan capital and then our way further up along the natural hillscapes. We’ll then turn into a road that passes directly through the protected primary forest. We’ll enjoy a break at a viewpoint with a majestic waterfall from the Namorona River. If there’s time, we’ll also enjoy some time in the hot springs before settling into our hotel.

Day 5 Ranomafana
Today we’ll explore the Ranomafana National Park on our Madagascar road trip. The park is home to several diurnal species of lemur including the Great Bamboo Eater, Ruddy Lemur and Golden Lemur. We’ll have a laidback walking tour to explore the protected tropical forest and then head back into town.

Day 6 Ranomafana - Manakara
180 km
We’re continuing along the windy roads making our descent to the coast. Today’s drive is lush with tropical vegetation from bamboo and ravinal forests along with fruit trees and plantations. We’ll cross through many small villages and arrive in Manakara by mid afternoon. We highly recommend a walk along town to stretch your legs after the long ride and to discover the charming seaside beaches.

Day 7 Alentours de Manakara
We have many different possible adventures for today. We can explore the famed “Commissioner’s Hole” by canoe or enjoy a 4×4 adventure to the mouth of the local river. We can also go to to explore the massive bridges that connect this region until Vohipeno. The day’s open to so many different kinds of adventures.

Day 8 Manakara - Sahambavy
240 km
We are returning along the windy roads passing through hills and rainforest on our Madagascar motorcycle tours. We’ll overnight along the tea plantations and the small lake in Sahambavy.

Day 9 Sahambavy - Ambalavao
68 km
We’ll visit the Sahambavy Tea plantations before departing in the early afternoon. We’ll enjoy the beautiful roads that cross rice fields passing downhill across scenic panoramas. Here we’ll see the famous vineyards of Madagascar before arriving in the charming village of Ambalavao.

Day 10 Ambalavao - Massif de l’Isalo

We are headed to the Anja Reserve Forest where we can explore primary growth forest that have been protected from bush fires by large rocks. Here you be able to discover the local flora and fauna from chameleons to Catta Lemurs and so much more. Then we’ll cross the Host into to a bare plateau- the Harambe. It’s a stunning change. Then we’ll arrive in Isalo and can enjoy a little relaxation around the hotel’s poolside.

Day 11 Isalo - Ifaty
276 km
We’ll depart on our way across the Ruiniforme Massif, the sandstone plateau unique to Isalo on our Madagascar motorcycle tours. We’ll pass along villages and come across the sapphire buyers. Then we’ll make our way along the coastal roads with twenty miles that race through sand dunes, mangroves, and some remains of the forests before we reach our hotel which is on a beautiful beach facing a large lagoon.

Day 12 Ifaty
Today’s a relaxation day to enjoy the sea and surrounding areas. Kick back and soak it all in.

Day 13 Ifaty - Sarodrano
51 km
After breakfast, we’ll depart and experience another scenery change. We are headed to the “end of the world” in a Tulear Town near the Saradrano Peninsula. We’ll have lunch at one of the famous spots either “La Terrasse” or “Chez Alain” and explore Tulear and enjoy the paths the wind the stony road. Then we’ll cross the Tropic of Capricorn and journey along the thorny bush and coastal roads.

Day 14 Sarodrano - Isalo
237 km
We’re headed back north with a stop to visit the Zombitse-Vohibiasa Reserve before we cross back into Isalo once again on our Madagascar motorcycle tours.

Day 15 Isalo – Fianarantsoa
280 km
We’ll depart earlier to cross the Harambe Desert Plateau. Here the vegetations transform into a greener savannah along the charing villages. We’ll then zigzag the mountains into the Malagasy highlands reaching the hilltop percheed Fianarantsoa. What better way is there to do Madagascar by motorbike?

Day 16 Fianarantsoa - Antsirabe
We’ll drive the road to Ambositra and enjoy the scenic roads and charming countryside before we head into Antsirabe to spend the night.

Day 17 Antsirabe - Antananarivo
168 km
We’re wrapping up our incredible Madagascar by motorbike adventure and we’ll arrive by late morning to where it all started. We’ll return our motorcycle to HDMR and then visit Upper Town having lunch in a well-known restaurant. We’ll overnight in Antananarivo one last time for those flying the next day or we can transfer you to the airport according to your flight time.

Day 18 Antananarivo - Airport
The day’s free for you to enjoy. Shop, eat and discover and transfer to the airport depending on your flight time.
