Behold Rome, The Eternal City, and the magnificent surroundings of Central Italy from Pompeii to Amalfi, the Gran Sasso Massif, and the delightful Umbria. This tour gives you a little taste of everything as you travel across four different regions in Italy moving from the coast to the central plains and the mountains. There’s just so much to do and see as we make our way across the breathtaking landscapes and immerse ourselves into the rich history of the peninsula. You’ll be dazzled as names from your history book come alive while you discover places completely unheard to you before. You’ll see a bit of ancient Rome, the medieval burg of Abruzzi then dive into the Renaissance before getting a taste of the Dolce Vita along with the Amalfi Coast and the magnificent Castelli Romani before and into the natural beauty of Gran Sasso and Majella. We’ll eventually wind up on the doorstep of Naples and delighting in everything the city has to over. Day 1

Rome

We’ll get together in the afternoon at our hotel in Rome to pick up our bikes. Before we dinner, we savor an Italian style welcome aperitif and have a short briefing to run down our trip itinerary, the rules of the road in Italy and answer any questions you might have. Then we’ll make our way to dinner and get to know each other before our trip begins.

Day 2

Rome - Umbria

Time for you to get introduced to Latium and begin our motorcycle tours Italy. This famous region was the birthplace of Rome but holds many treasures aside from the world’s most famous empire. We begin by stopping in Tivoli to visit the dazzling Villa d’Este palace with its incredible frescoes and stunning gardens. Then we’ll curve along Lake Turano before we are swallowed by the magnificent underground world of the delightful town of Umbria which dates to the Middle Ages ending the day at our hotel in Reite.

Day 3

Umbria - Loreto Aprutino

We’re making our way into the green forests of the Apennine Mountains on a road running through Lake Campotosto and Mount Terminillo on our Central Italy motorcycle tours. Today, we’ll discover Abruzzi’s Gran Sasso Nature Park an amazing combination of beautiful nature and charming towns dating from the Medieval Era along with the pastoral landscapes of the highlands. After we make our way through the park, we’ll curve along the roads arriving in Loreto Aprutino, a charming town nestled between the Gran Sasso Massif and the Adriatic Sea

Day 4

Loreto Aprutino

We’re going to crisscross the Gran Sasso Park making our way through the amazingly preserved villages that provided that backdrop to classic European films like The Name of the Rose and Ladyhawke. For lunch, we’ll enjoy our own barbecue on top of the highest peak in the Apennine Mountain Range. You’ll have plenty to choose from including the delicious Abruzzi Lamb along with mutton kebabs. In the evening you can dine where you please back in the town of Loreto Aprutino.

Day 5

Loreto Aprutino - Sulmona

205 km

We’ll enjoy another complete day along the green forests of Abruzzi savoring the beautiful landscape and the challenging curvy roads on our guided motorcycle tours of Italy. Lakes, mountains, gorges, and villages are just a few of the things we will see. At the end of the day, we’ll be in the marvelous town of Sulmona, the world capital of sugared almonds.

Day 6

Sulmona - Caserta

215 km

A spectacular day awaits us as we hop back on our bikes and continue through the Sagittarian Gorges leaving Abruzzi and set a course into Campania. As we ride southwest, we’ll cross the Maltese National Park. There’s much to see in Caserta from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Reggia Royal Place which was constructed by King Carlo of Naples to rival the famed Versailles in France.

Day 7

Caserta - Naples

You won’t believe how the environment will change around us shifting from the high mountains into the magnificent coastal roads. The Mediterranean Coast awaits us and will begin by enjoying the Phlegraean Fields which feature a unique combination of natural and manmade sites creating a completely distinct place. We’ll enjoy the Flavian Amphitheater, a stunning testament to the feats of Roman engineering which features the biggest underground network in the world. We’ll make a brief stop in Posillipo before we enter the incredible city of Naples on our guided motorcycle tours Italy.

Day 8

Naples

What better place is there to take a rest then the incredible city of Naples? Our bikes will get the day off as you have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace. Our staff is here to help give you some pointers on the countless opportunities available to you. There’s so much to choose from exploring the magnificent churches, and streets of the city to simply relaxing the beach and enjoying the sun and sand. You can also enjoy a cooking class at one of the restaurants or take a boat trip to the Capri, Ischia and Procida Islands. Whatever you want to do, we’ll help you arrange it. No included meals today, it’s up to you to discover the cuisine of this great city!

Day 9

Naples - Salerno

We’re back on the bikes to discover more of Italy on our Central Italy motorcycle tours! We begin by ascending the roads up to the famed Vesuvius to enjoy the incredible panorama of the Gulf of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula. We’ll then visit the UNESCO World Heritage SIte of Pompeii and take a trip into another world. It’s one of the most famous places in Italy, but our expert local guides we’ll have some special insights on it for you. Then we descend into the Sorrento Peninsula to reach the stunning Ravello, one of the most beautiful places on the Amalfi Coast. We’ll enjoy a Campania style lunch along the coast before we make our way into Salerno, our journey’s southernmost destination and a great city.

Day 10

Salerno

150 km

We discover the Sorrento Peninsula today and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Amalfi Coast on our motorcycle tours Italy. Today’s not about distance, but discovery as we really explore this amazing area. We begin by winding along the roads until we reach Gragnani, the hometown of pasta and our stop for lunch. Then we visit Sorrento’s most dazzling places like Massa Lubrense and Positano before return to Salerno for the evening.

Day 11

Salerno - Terracina

230 km

We beginning our return trip on one of our best rides of our guided motorcycle tours of Italy. We’re leaving Amalfi to head into the spectacular mountains before we once again arrive at the ocean along the Latium Coast. Along the way, we’ll visit a Caserta old town and ride along the incredible spurs of Gaeta before we reach our hotel in the sea resort of Terracina.

Day 12

Terracina - Rome

220 km

We’re on an incredible loop along the south of Latium breezing across the forests of Colli and through the Castelli Romani (the region of Roman castles). We’ll also discover Nerni and Albano, volcanic lakes that are the home of the Pope’s summer residence in Castel Gandolfo. We’ll even take a spin through Albano Laziale. By late afternoon, we arrive at our original hotel in Rome where it all began. We’ll end the trip by celebrating our accomplishments over a lavish farewell dinner to conclude our great journey.

Day 13

Rome

After breakfast, we’ll say farewell to end our motorcycle tours Italy. We recommend taking some more time to enjoy the great city of Rome. We’re also happy to give you some additional ideas on exploring the wonderful country of Italy.

For this trip, your vehicle is: a Harley Davidson, a Kawasaki, a BMW, a Ducati, a Agusta or a Guzzi motorcycle..

To drive this vehicle you need : sup. 125cc motobike licence.

Price for this road trip starts at 3168€ for each rider .

This price is intended by person and for a pair of a pilot and a pillion.

3 520 € : Price for 1 rider in shared double room
2 816 € : Price for 1 pillion in shared double room
528 € : Supplement per rider for the option single room

The above prices refer to a minimum of 3 motorcycles (or bike teams) enrolled by departure time. In case only 1 or 2 bike teams should have enrolled on a tour, then booking is not binding and participants will autonomously decide whether they confirm their participation against payment of a supplement, or they renounce free of charge, in which case all sums already paid are refunded.
