Day 1 - Arrival in Croatia
Zagreb is a jewel of a city and you’ll have some time in your first day to settle in and enjoy it. You’re staying in the Oštarski Stanovi-Rakovica, the perfect area for a little shopping and exploration. In evening, we’ll meet up for dinner at the hotel restaurant. Rest up because our motorcycle tours Europe begin tomorrow !
Day 2 - Plitvice Lakes National Park and Devils Garden
In the morning our Croatia motorcycle tours kick start as make our way to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This stunning park features 16 lakes which cascade onto each other. It’s an incredible sight to behold. Then, you’ll be on the small roads through the villages passing through the tiny hamlet of Krosno. Here you can see the stunning peaks of North Velebit National Park and also have an opportunity to play with the bear cubs at Kuterevo Refuge.
Day 3 - Ucka Nature Park
We back on the road on our Croatia tours as we make our way along the eastern coast of Kvarner Bay. We’ll make our ascent as we climb the gravel roads to Veprinac and Poklon Mountain Hut. Here you will have delicious lunch of local foods and in the afternoon have time to hike to the mountain summits in Ucka Nature Park.
Day 4 - Groznjan and Motovun forts
As you make your way across the famous Istrian hills on our Croatia tours, we’ll find ourselves at the magical white ground of Groznjan. A true please, this fortified village sit magically in the hills and is home to so much to see from castles to ancient arts to its modern museum. It’s a small town, but it’s home to 35 different art workshops from painting to dance and sculpture and so much more. During summer, the streets are transformed into a huge stage. Groznjan is home to jazz, alternative, classical and other art and music festivals. Afterward, we’ll head over to Motovun, the most beautiful town in Istria and then make our way into Slovenia.
Day 5 - Postojna Cave - The Lake of Bled
As our Slovenia motorcycle tours begin, it’s time explore Lake Bled one of the most enchanting places in Slovenia. No matter the season, the town, castle and small church on the islands are always something to savor. You can walk around the charming lake and experience living medieval history. From here, you can make your way to the Alpine Peaks and valleys n the Triglav National Park, the limestone caves in Postojna and Škocjan, the Goriška Brda vineyard before we make our way across the lovely Emerald RIver to the end the day.
Day 6 - Podravje Region
Today, you’ll drive through the Podravje Region on your Slovenia motorcycle tours. There are some excellent destinations that are the perfect blend of high quality tourist service with nature and cultural sites. You’ll cross through Maribor and Pohorje, verdant towns in the Slovenia mountain tops along with vineyards, thermal pools and so much more. No matter your interest, you’ll find it in Podravje !
Day 7 - Croatia - Medimurje I Hrvatsko Zagorje
Today we on the traditional artisan and wine route. Medjimurje is full of ancient traditions from handmade crafts to fortified walls and the legends of old where locals say the souls of the nobility and commoners still lingers around the city. You’ll cross paradise-like gardens on our Slovenia road trip as you drive by the wild Mura and Drava rivers. Then, we’ll explore ancient mines and old towns before ending the day in the gentle meadows and forests in the Alpine slopes.
Day 8 - Adventure Conclusion
It’s time to wrap up our Croatia tours. You’ll head back to Zagreb Airport on one of the numerous roads, big and small that lead there. We recommend spending a little more time in the capital particularly the Jutro Dan Tasting Shop before you head home.
