
Day 1
San Jose
This is a day to get ready for one of the best Costa Rica motorcycle adventures. Here we will meet and greet at the airport and provide transfer to hotel for your first night. We will give you all the information you need to get ready for the trip and this is also a good time to explore Costa Rica’s capital a little. Just be sure to turn in early because the road ahead awaits !

Day 2
San Jose - Manuel Antonio
170 km - 2h30 of riding
On our first day, we start early. It’s time to pack up and hit the road. Today’s 2.5 hour drive starts on Pan-American Highway #1 North towards San Ramon / Puntarenas. Wave goodbye to the International airport and the exit on your right to Alajuela downtown as we head on the road out of town.
Continuing on the main highway, we will ride to Manuel Antonio, which is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park. Remember this is also one of the Costa Rica off road motorcycle tours and we will hit some rocky terrain along the way. After the ride, nothing is better than cooling off on the enchanting white-sand beaches which are ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forests that are alive with wildlife. Make sure to keep an eye out too for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you.

Day 3
Manuel Antonio - Volcan
125 km - 2h20 of riding
Today’s ride will be just a little bit shorter, but we still have to start early to embrace the day ahead. We ride south and cross the Costa Rican border and our Costa Rican Motorcycle Tours transport in Panama adventures! With a little luck, we will pass through immigration and customs quickly and be on our way to the Chiriqui highlands driving until we reach Volcán.
Here, the community of Bambito is located at an elevation of over 4,500 feet (1600) meters above sea level. It is a lovely place surrounded by nature with an average 65°F temperature all year round. Its landscape is composed of green mountains and the gentle pitter patter of the Chiriqui Viejo River that will make you feel perfectly at home.

Day 4
Volcan - Panama City
530 km - 7h15 of riding
This a big driving day so hopefully you relaxed enough last night! We will push ourselves to the limit and drive over seven hours to Panama City, the capital and largest city of the country. With the good roads along the way, we will really be able to open up our engines as we make our way to the capital.
There we will experience the diversity and blending of cultures in the historic Old City district. Afterwards, we will head over to the lively and vibrant banking district which people often compare to Miami. This fun contrast will show you all the Panama has to offer!

Day 5
Panama City - Miraflores locks
35 km - 30 min of riding
We won’t do as much driving today as instead we will spend the time to explore Panama City. You will start the day with a thirty minute drive to Miraflores and see the huge vessels passing through Panama Canal. One of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, the Panama Canal is truly something incredible.
We will go on a short tour and enjoy the view on the Locks from a sheltered terrace that is great place for taking photos. As we complete the visit of the Canal, you will visit the Museum and Visitor Center at Miraflores where our tour guide will gives us a good idea on the construction of the Canal – a masterpiece of engineering.
After the visit to the Canal, you will continue with your guide to the Amador Causeway, a road that connects three Islands in the Pacific Ocean and offers magnificent views of the Canal on one side and the skyline of Panama City on the other.
The days continues as we ride to the Casco Viejo, Panama City’s colonial quarter. At Casco Viejo, you will travel back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads and the impressive churches.

Day 6
Panama City - El Valle
150 km - 2h15 of riding
Today we are back on the road for a couple hours. El Valle (Anton Valley) is famous for its market featuring handcrafts, fresh fruits, vegetables and beautiful native plants such as orchids and bougainvillea.
What makes the valley so special is that it emerged from an extinct huge volcano crater. The moderate and spring-like climate makes the valley an excellent summer resort. Also, besides being one of the bird watching hot spots of the country, the Anton Valley offers fascinating hiking possibilities, zip line tours through the cloud and rain forest and scenic rides on a horseback.

Day 7
El Valle - Boquete
365 km - 5h40 of riding
Today is another big driving day and we will be on the road for nearly six hours! We will wake up in the early morning and continue back to Chiriqui highlands, until we reach Boquete. Tucked away on the eastern slopes of Barú Volcano at 1200 meters, is the small and charming mountain village of Boquete.
Known to produce some of the sweetest oranges and richest coffees in all of Panama, Boquete is quickly becoming a destination for those visitors seeking absolutely perfect temperate weather. Boquete’s healthy climate has prompted many to believe it is the secret to longevity, since many native Boqueteños have lived well on past their one-hundredth birthday.

Day 8
Boquete - Puerto Viejo
535 km - 8h of riding
This will be our longest day on the road, but by now you will be eager for the challenge. After all, you are now a road warrior! We cross back over the border and we are on a Costa Rica motorcycle adventure again. Today, we must traverse the famous railroad bridge which offers incredible views. As it is a Costa Rica off road motorcycle tours, we will sometimes even have to get off the bike and push our bikes through the rails and missing wood platform on the bridge. What an adventure!
Afterwards, we will continue along the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and eventually we will reach the small lazy town of Puerto Viejo where we can relax and have a little night on the town.

Day 9
Puerto Viejo - Volcan Arenal
115 km - 2h20 of riding
After the last two long driving days, you will be happy to have a shorter one. Our Costa Rica motorcycle tours will takes us to one of the most famous spots in the country, Arenal. It is one of the most active volcanoes of the world and home to cloud forests, a lake that is world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife.
We end the day under the flawless silhouette of Arenal Volcano and can go investigate its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash, which are a sight not to be missed by any visitor to Costa Rica. At the end of the day, we will enjoy the hot springs located in our hotel to begin a relaxing evening.

Day 10
Volcan Arenal - San Jose
32 km - 45 min of riding
This is our last day on the road, and our drive will barely last an hour! In the morning, we will enjoy a canopy tour or you can choose to visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges. After lunch we will return to San Jose where you can explore around the city one last time. In the evening, we will meet back up and discuss all the great things we did during the trip.

Day 11
San José
After a final evening in San Jose, we will say our goodbye over breakfast and from here, we will transport you over to the airport where you can head home or continue your journeys.
