Cross a few villages and up a narrow valley to arrive at Skoura, one of the few palm groves in the country still cultivated. The lush, green oasis contrasts against the pink ocher color of the earth. The descent along a highly cultivated green valley, quite different from the landscapes before. We have lunch at Nkob at the Kasbah Immdoukal. We travel down the valley of the Draa via a winding road resembling a green snake sinking into heart of the desert.
