Canada is full of remote natural beauty waiting to be explored !
Canada is the second largest country in the world by area and offers a wealth of destinations for every type of traveler! Canada’s sprawling geography offers some of the most pristine wilderness and is one of the remote places left on earth. It is also home to major metropolitan cities like Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, and Vancouver that are home to an amalgam of cuisines, arts, and culture. This combination allows for a Canada tour package that will exceed the expectations of any and all visitors! Whether you’re looking for two-wheeled adventure across the Rocky Mountains, a snowy high-speed trek by snowmobile, or a simple Canada road trip by car, Planet Ride has the perfect option for you!
There is no shortage of awesome activities to include in your Canada tour package, no matter where you might end up in Canada. Each of Canada’s major cities has its own intricacies and attractions, from the capital buildings of Ottawa to the old world feel of Quebec City or the multicultural metropolises of Toronto or Montreal. Canada is also home to gorgeous national parks and natural beauty. The massive waterfalls of Niagara Falls in the eastern part of the country draws thousands of tourists each year, massive, rugged mountains, plenty of wildlife, and some fantastic skiing all reside in Jasper and Banff National Parks, and Halifax has the world’s second-largest natural harbor. Beyond those options, Canada hosts a number of music, literary, and film festivals each year, huge Canada Day celebrations, and even one of the largest Oktoberfests outside of Germany.
Given the vast area of the country and its significantly varied geography, from the prairies across central Canada to the enormous mountains of British Columbia, it is difficult to summarize the weather into a single statement. Generally, though, temperatures will be warmest during the summer months and coldest during the winter months with winters becoming increasingly harsh and snowy the further north you go. The weather along the coasts is heavily influenced by the ocean but tends to be a little milder. Planet Ride currently features Canada tours year-round, with car, motorcycle, and ATV tours during the warmer months and several different snowmobile treks during the snowy winter months.
Canada has a number of possible arrival points with international airports in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and several other smaller cities. Overland entry from the United States by car, bus, motorcycle, etc. is also possible. However, be sure to have your Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or visitor visa prepared in advance! While citizens of the United States will only need proof of citizenship and identification, travelers from Britain, the European Union, and any other country will need proper authorization.
The average traveler does not have much to worry about in Canada. Be nice, use common sense, and you’ll likely be just fine!
