On our first day, we start early. It’s time to pack up and hit the road. Today’s 2.5 hour drive starts on Pan-American Highway #1 North towards San Ramon / Puntarenas. Wave goodbye to the International airport and the exit on your right to Alajuela downtown as we head on the road out of town.
Continuing on the main highway, we will ride to Manuel Antonio, which is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park. Remember this is also one of the Costa Rica off road motorcycle tours and we will hit some rocky terrain along the way. After the ride, nothing is better than cooling off on the enchanting white-sand beaches which are ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forests that are alive with wildlife. Make sure to keep an eye out too for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you.
Manuel Antonio - Volcan

Today’s ride will be just a little bit shorter, but we still have to start early to embrace the day ahead. We ride south and cross the Costa Rican border and our Costa Rican Motorcycle Tours transport in Panama adventures! With a little luck, we will pass through immigration and customs quickly and be on our way to the Chiriqui highlands driving until we reach Volcán.
Here, the community of Bambito is located at an elevation of over 4,500 feet (1600) meters above sea level. It is a lovely place surrounded by nature with an average 65°F temperature all year round. Its landscape is composed of green mountains and the gentle pitter patter of the Chiriqui Viejo River that will make you feel perfectly at home.
Volcan - Panama City

This a big driving day so hopefully you relaxed enough last night! We will push ourselves to the limit and drive over seven hours to Panama City, the capital and largest city of the country. With the good roads along the way, we will really be able to open up our engines as we make our way to the capital.
There we will experience the diversity and blending of cultures in the historic Old City district. Afterwards, we will head over to the lively and vibrant banking district which people often compare to Miami. This fun contrast will show you all the Panama has to offer!

We won’t do as much driving today as instead we will spend the time to explore Panama City. You will start the day with a thirty minute drive to Miraflores and see the huge vessels passing through Panama Canal. One of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, the Panama Canal is truly something incredible.

150 km - 2h15 of riding
Today we are back on the road for a couple hours. El Valle (Anton Valley) is famous for its market featuring handcrafts, fresh fruits, vegetables and beautiful native plants such as orchids and bougainvillea.
What makes the valley so special is that it emerged from an extinct huge volcano crater. The moderate and spring-like climate makes the valley an excellent summer resort. Also, besides being one of the bird watching hot spots of the country, the Anton Valley offers fascinating hiking possibilities, zip line tours through the cloud and rain forest and scenic rides on a horseback.
El Valle - Boquete
365 km - 5h40 of riding
Today is another big driving day and we will be on the road for nearly six hours! We will wake up in the early morning and continue back to Chiriqui highlands, until we reach Boquete. Tucked away on the eastern slopes of Barú Volcano at 1200 meters, is the small and charming mountain village of Boquete.
Known to produce some of the sweetest oranges and richest coffees in all of Panama, Boquete is quickly becoming a destination for those visitors seeking absolutely perfect temperate weather. Boquete’s healthy climate has prompted many to believe it is the secret to longevity, since many native Boqueteños have lived well on past their one-hundredth birthday.

This will be our longest day on the road, but by now you will be eager for the challenge. After all, you are now a road warrior!
